Bio

 

Annaliese Ptacek was born in Evanston, Illinois. After moving to South Dakota, she began her dance training at the age of 7. She spent her college years training at The University of North Carolina School of the Arts as a ballet major, as well as at The University of Wyoming, where she earned her BFA in Dance Performance. Just a few of the many roles she has danced include a Harpie in Jose Limon's Excerpts from The Winged, the Sugarplum Fairy, the Dewdrop Fairy, and Clara in The Nutcracker. Most recently, Annaliese spent 15 months living and working in Japan where she performed as an aerialist at The Tokyo DisneySea park. Now, she is currently living in LA and is represented by Cabrera Talent Company as well as Brand Models and Talent agency. Annaliese is also an accomplished violinist. She is a part of the OLBH Praise Band, and a freelance violinist.

Annaliese uses much of her free time to continue to enhance her skills as a performer by collaborating with other artists and acting in various short films, taking dance classes, and participating in various workshops and masterclasses.

A few of her other favorite pastimes include making friends with the neighbor's cats, exploring the Huntington Botanical Gardens and Art Collections, laughing at puns, and eating ice cream.
